Paula Varela Gomez

With deep love and faith, the family of Paula Varela Gomez announces her peaceful passing on November 13, 2025. After a long and beautiful life, Paula returned to the loving embrace of God, surrounded by the prayers and gratitude of those who adored her.

Paula was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a cherished grandmother, and a beloved daughter. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Tiburcio Gomez, an Air Force veteran and a devoted son, father, and grandfather. Their bond was one of enduring love and unwavering dedication to family.

She is lovingly survived by her children:

• Jose Gomez and his wife Debra

• Marco Gomez and his wife Patti

• Gloria Gomez

• Carla Gevasoni and her husband John

• Victoria Perry and her husband Richard

• Victor Gomez, preceded in passing by his late wife Laura

Paula’s life was guided by faith, compassion, and a generous spirit. Her quiet strength and devotion to her family reflected her belief in God’s grace. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and spiritual warmth that will continue to bless her family for generations.

Though she has left this earthly home, her spirit remains a gentle, steady light. We take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her husband in the eternal peace of God’s presence, surrounded by loved ones who went before her.
