I had no idea there was going to be a memorial service. I would have come if I had known. My sincere sympathy goes out to those he leaves behind, those who have helped and cared for he and Raffey for so many years. I rememebr Uncle Peter for his knowledge of so many things and of his sharing all of that information. I know he will be missed by so many. With all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I got to know Peter through my sister Carrie.  I can say he made me laugh.  He had such character and was fiesty.  It was such a pleasure having him over for Thanksgving Dinner at my son's house this past year.  A memory I and my son will never forget.  He made dinner such a pleasure and the wine he brought amazing!!  Such a caring a thoughtful man even when he didn't feel good.  He gave a good fight for life!!!  So glad he is with his lovely wife now in heaven and no longer in pain.  He will forever be missed.  In loving memory Peter!!!

Uncle, us coming together was a gift from the heavens above, for God knew we could share in our time of need and unconditional love. 
At first we were quiet and shy, and then one day I sat on your couch and started to cry.  Your open heart knew just what to do; you listened to me day after day until my troubles were through.
It was your kind and gentle ways that brightened up my days.  As we laughed, we cried, and in our long talks we confided in each other.
I found comfort in you as you did me too; from here our beautiful friendship grew and grew.
I love you Uncle with all of my heart, it was the saddest day of my life when our friendship here on earth had to part.
I am sad and lost without you here, but watching you suffer in pain I could no longer endure.
Pain and suffering your life will no longer be, for God took you to heaven to be with your loving family. 
Until we meet again in the heavens above, I will be sure to carry on the legacy of my Uncle Peter's unconditional love.

I had the best grandpa ever he was a granpa a father and a friend to me and my husband.I will miss are long talks and him always calling to check in on me when ever i was sad or just needed to talk he was always there for me.I loved him telling me his war stories and giving me advice but most of all i will miss his laugh and him telling me he really likes me .Love you grandpa love Lisa  xoxoxo
