Phillip J. Martinez, age 87, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on Thursday July 5, 2018. Phillip was born February 4, 1931 in Lawrence, Kansas to the late Magdaleno and Margarita Martinez.
Phillip is survived by children, Lorraine (Steve) Muro, Christine (Jay) Feeney, Margie (Joe) DeHerrera, Angela (Steve) Aguirre, and Robert Martinez; grandchildren Michael Quintana, Chantell Counts, Jesse Lee White, Stephen Muro, Samuel Muro, Michah Juarez, Benjamin Muro, Matthew Muro, Chisen DeHerrera, Phillip J. Martinez III, Lisa Villa, Chuck Martinez, LaRee Martinez and Alberta Martinez; sibilings Dephine Rodriguez and Tony Martinez; 35 great grandchildren and 24 great-great grandchildren.
Phillip was preceded in death by his spouse Irene Martinez; son's Phillip (baby) Martinez and Phillip J. Martinez Jr.; parents Magdaleno and Margarita Martinez; siblings Paula Santoya, Condo Martinez, Rumaldo Martinez, Aurelio Martinez, Francis Martinez, Joey Martinez and Maria Amelia Martinez.
A funeral service for Phillip will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Landmark Tabernacle Church, 2727 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80227. A burial at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery will follow the service.

OMG! Margie - we are so sorry to hear about your loss. I know how much you lovvvvveeeeddd your daddy. I am just heart broken. Condolences to you and Joe and Chris and the rest of your family. I have heard many many stories about this hard working man while I worked with Margie for six years as we traveled throughout the State of Colorado. Mucha! I love u - Lori and Duff
