She was born on February 18, 1944 in Montana, and graduated from North High School in 1961. She had many jobs throughout her life, including being a clerical worker for Universal Studios Denver office.
Phyllis married Alan Sherriff on August 3, 1968, and they welcomed their son Craig on December 1, 1970.
Phyllis was a long-time member of Peace Lutheran Church, in Arvada, CO. Along with her passion for church, she loved to spend time gardening.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Elizabeth Wagner.
She is survived by her son Craig Sherriff, sister Jackie McDermott, niece Shannon MacDonald, and nephews Matt and Mark McDermott.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Avenue, on Thursday, October 29, 2026 beginning at 11:00am. Cars may line up at Staging Area "B" off of the main road.
