Rachel was born April 16, 1916 in Greeley the daughter of Axel Leonard & Lillie E. (Duell) Anderson. She married Marvin Jack Gordon, June 25, 1935. They lived in Greeley, San Diego and then settled in Castle Rock to raise their 2 children, Gerald (Ruben Flores) Gordon & Reba (Jerry) Sheehan. They later moved to Englewood where she owned and operated Englewood Flower Shop for 40 year working 6 days a week. A member of FTD, Teleflora, BPW, Englewood Chamber of Commerce & Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Jack; daughter, Donna Jean; granddaughter Janice & grandson, Gordon. Survived by her son & daughter; sister Marie Hoffman; 3 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren as well as many dear friends & caretaker, Evelyn.
