December 5, 1977 – July 26, 2025
Ramon “Ray” Cristobal Cordova, age 47, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on July 26, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on December 5, 1977, Ray was a proud Denver native whose heart always belonged to Colorado, no matter where life took him. He spent part of his childhood in Moriarty, New Mexico, and moved between Denver and New Mexico throughout his life—but he always came home to Denver, where he will be laid to rest.
Ray was a talented electrician and the proud owner of RCC Electric. He was known not only for his skill in his trade but for his reliability, work ethic, and the genuine care he showed his clients and community.
Ray’s greatest pride and joy were his two beautiful children, Ramon and Destiny, who meant everything to him. He loved deeply and fiercely, especially when it came to family.
A die-hard Broncos fan, Ray brought passion to game day—win or lose. He loved classic cars and proudly owned one he received as a trade for electrical work—his dream car 1964 Thunderbird a symbol of his dedication and craft.
Ray had a big laugh and an even bigger heart. He loved to make people laugh and always had a soft spot for anyone in need or who felt left out. His compassion, humor, and loyalty will never be forgotten. Ray is preceded in death by his grandparents, Cristobal Chavez; James and Irene Cordova; his father, Walter Cordova; and his brother Walter Cordova Jr.
He is survived by his beloved children, Destiny and Ramon II Cordova; his loving mother, Maria Anglin, and stepfather, Marvin; his sister, Janelle, and her husband, Tony Leyba; his brother, Jeremiah; his niece, Milan; and his nephews, Panson (Jesus) and Jaxson; and many cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A viewing will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service will take place at 12:00 PM, with a reception to follow at 12:30 PM. All services will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
All who knew and loved Ray are welcome to attend and honor his memory.
