Ramona (Bacher) Wuetig, 97, passed away peacefully at her home on Saddleback Mountain in Clear Creek County on November 22, 2025, with her children by her side. She was born in Wheat Ridge on June 14, 1928 to Helena (Apel) and Joseph Bacher. Ramona grew up on the family farm at 44th and Wadsworth, and graduated from Wheat Ridge High School in 1946. On August 13, 1947 she had her first date with Robert Wuetig. On August 13, 1948 they were engaged, and on August 13, 1949, they began their marriage that was to last until his passing in 2006. In 1972, Ramona and Bob moved to Saddleback Mountain, into the beautiful home that she had designed. She was proud of her Colorado heritage, a lifelong member of the Clear Creek Valley Grange, a Territorial Daughter of Colorado, and a diehard Colorado Rockies fan.
Ramona's life was centered around her family, and she will be deeply missed by us all: son Gary (Karen Hope), and daughter Gail Buelter; grandchildren Holly (Florian) Seeberger, Kent (Jenna) Austin, Wayne Buelter, and Darian (Katie) Buelter; her 7 great-grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews from the Nosler, Snowdon, Bowen, and Wuetig families. She was preceded in death by her sisters Jeannette Nosler and Betty Snowdon, her husband Robert, her daughter Robin Austin, and many beloved canine companions.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Clear Creek County Animal Shelter, aka "Charlie's Place."
