Tami, hello hi Scott
A year and a half after Lee died I really needed your comfort and you were about to go on stage at the Genesee music in the Meadows program. I spoke with Randy and he said that he hold up starting the concert until I had a chance to see you. You were backstage getting ready. Somehow Randy knew the importance of my getting a hug from you at that moment. How could you know this? Randy was just one of the most caring and kind people that I ever met and I wish I had known him better. Jim

It was a joyous time when Tammy found the man of her dreams and everyone was so happy for her!!!
The last time I saw them they were playing in the field in Genesee.  Afterwards I went down to thank them for the wonderful music not knowing it was them.   I spoke to Randy then saw Tammy.  I asked him if he were related to her and he boasted with a big smile and said,  "I sure am!".   It is a nice memory and I can still hear him saying it.

I knew Randy briefly and we hung out a few of times over the years.  He was a good, rock solid man. One hell of a musician.  Had an encyclopedic knowledge of hard hitting, ass kicking, heavy metal music. He also loved animals, especially Reno, an absolutely brilliant parrot that can imitate everything from Tami to the microwave. First and foremost Randy was my cousin’s partner, musical peer and soul mate.  There was nothing he wouldn’t do for her. He was also a generous and gracious host, opening his home whenever any of us visited Colorado. His passing is an immense loss to our family and to the people that had the privilege of knowing him. Randy you will be missed.

I remember meeting Randy for the first time.. I thought … YESSSS this is a good one for my friend Tami.

He loved animals, he was honest, a hard worker, and most of all HE LET TAMI BE HERSELF. 

This was a wonderful man, he had a great sense of humor, loved his family and friends. I can’t say enough good things about him, he was a one of a kind.

Randy , thank you for letting me be in your life ..it was an honor .

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Randy. What I do know, is what it feels like to be in love and what it feels like to be a widow. My heart weeps for you Tami, as we are now in a club no one wants to be in. Even though our lives have changed forever, know that you are not alone. 🎸

The moment Tami introduced Randy in our family we felt enriched by such a great character and we experienced  and enjoyed in the time thereafter, his  exceptionally kind and attentive personality; so  perfectly well itting in our family.
We were most pleased to have  Randy and Tami in The Netherlands for a short while some time ago. And so we did in the States and we had  great times together. He will remain in our thoughts and will remain a living indelible memory.

I had the privilege of knowing Randy for about 15 years. I met him when he came to me to prepare his tax return. Each year at tax time and many times in between we had great conversations about finances and life. I am broken hearted for the loss of this gentle soul. I know the reunion with his mom was joyous! Rest in peace my friend.

I have known Randy  for a little more than ten years. 

In that time,  I got to know Randy quite well,  and always found him to be one of the most  kind and decent people I had ever met. 

He was an exceptional guitarist,  a dedicated musician who had that rare gift of real talent and dedication to being the best player he could be. 

Randy was never a poser,  actually shunned the spotlight,  a rare trait for most guitarists. 

He always let others have their time  so they could shine. 

Only the most decent and humble acts that way,  Randy was all that and so much more. 

He once told me in a conversation long ago that Tami was the only woman he had ever met that he wanted to marry!

It says so very much for both of them,  they found each other, loved and respected each other. 

Via Con Dios my friend,  I hope you find the peace in Heaven that too often eluded you in life.

Randy, 30 plus years a friend, coworker, music & guitar lover, craftsman, motorcycle enthusiast , friend to animals and people- you name it - if you liked it you were passionate about it. I’m truly sad, and will miss you and our talks. You were very important person in so many peoples lives. Until we meet again.

I can’t really say that I knew Randy very well. But I knew Tami well from going to the gym for the last 10 years to be stretched out by Rob.. Tami was always my best cheerleader.
Of course I met Randy several times but only in passing. He was always pleasant but my favorite and best memory of Randy was on July 26 this year when Final Eyes was playing for Music in the Meadows. Before the show I went backstage which was really between two vans to give Tami a hug and congratulate her. Randy knowing that my wife Lee, of 57 years, had passed away the previous year in March, stalled things for a moment and took me right over to where Tami was. 
He gave me time for that hug and somehow knew that I needed it. Randy was a very gracious and caring person. The Lord has taken him way too early and he will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Jim White

The greatest gift one can give is to raise another’s expectations and standards. Randy and Tami took me in as a drummer in their band, and they forever changed my outlook on life. I am in eternal debt to Randy for giving me the courage and experience to continuously step further outside my comfort zone and discover what it was I truly wanted out of my life. His passion has touched so many, and I am so grateful to consider him my brother. Love you, Randy.

I’ve know Tami since the 5th grade, we’ve been in touch mainly through Facebook, a text or phone call here or there. But I finally had the pleasure of meeting Randy at our 30th HS reunion which their band played. What a guy! I than knew why Tami  and him had such a love and connection! He was instantly likable! Tami doesn’t know this but Randy was secretly contacting me almost a year before Tami’s 50th birthday asking if I could rally together people Tami would love to see and celebrate with for her 50th! I said to Randy “Man you are an awesome husband for doing this and planning it so far in advance!” Unfortunately due to 2020 ruining many of our 50th birthday ideas and plans we never had the opportunity to celebrate. But the thought was there and he wasn’t giving up until he had to. Randy you obviously were loved by many and may you Rest In Peace you sweet man!! And to all of you who loved Randy May all your precious memories carry you through these hard times! I Love you Tami! ❤️ Marlo xoxo 


We have suffered a great loss.   When Tami brought Randy into our lives, he just melted into our family.    We visited many places here and abroad.   We celebrated Christmas together many times, and that green hat kept showing up!  (inside joke). He gave Charlie a cookbook "The Fort" hoping he would enjoy those wild recipes. He called me Mama P.  He was the son I never had.  
We will never forget that contagious smile and bright blue eyes.  We will never forget his selflessness, kindness, generosity and love.  There will never be another Randy.  The angels took him to heaven where we will all see him again.  Till then, rest in peace, my wonderful son. I know your mom will share you with me when we are all together again.

I am truly heart broken.

Love, love love the pictures!  What a wonderful life! Randy, we didn't know you when you were a young, budding rocker- we are more recent friends. But what an impact you and Tami have had on our lives- We will always remember your running around- check, check, check! The best of the best rest in peace!  We'll watch over Tami down here.....

Randy was such a kind, generous and gentle man.  I personally enjoyed, and will miss the times we were able to share and talk about our craft and gift of music.  I pray that you are at peace brother! 

I didn't really know Randy, but had the opportunity to jam with him once during an audition. He was a genuinely caring person, and the Denver music community has lost a very talented musician. Rest in peace.

Tami asked me if I would sub while they were searching for a new Bass Player so that's when I  first met this beautiful brother, I played several gigs and had such a great time I said hey why don't I fill that spot which I did. We became friends immediately which is always the way it is with Randy (Unless You're a Jerk) that's one of the reasons so many people love Him. I've spent many hour inside and outside the band with him and Tami. I love him like a Brother and will truly miss laughing with Him and seeing that contagious smile. No question Randy was a Great Guitarist but he was way more than that.

When he and Tami came to my house and he saw my dog….Skylar….
My Doberman Pincher…. Normally this breed of dog would intimidate ………but NOT RANDY….he sat right down on the floor and she LOVED HIM ❤️❤️ and he her. He’s smile said it all.  It’s always been told dogs know good people, safe people, and Randy you are that. 
You had a knack with dogs, with animals…..and with that guitar. It was my gift to have known you….THANK YOU….

Randy has been a part of our family for what seems like a lifetime.  He was my brother's best friend and always treated me like his kid sister.  His smile was so infectious.  Every year I get to see him on my wedding video, trying to hide from the garter toss, while holding his beer (along with Rich and Dave).  He will always be my big brother.  He will be missed. The world is a dimmer place without him.  Randy you are gone way too young.  A very sad time. Condolences and prayers to all of his family and to his friends.  I know you are with your mom now. Be at peace and watch over us down here.  XO

Sitting at this keyboard, pounding away at cliché after cliché – only to delete them soon after – I find myself pausing … thinking. I wipe away the pooled tears on the tip of my nose and begin again trying to get this right. 
 
What can I share with you, Randy’s wife, family and friends that you do not already know? For indeed knowing Randy means you’ve had occasion to be swept up by his infectious laugh, to be drawn-in by his child-like curiosity, to catch the twinkling of mischievousness in his impish blue eyes, to be held aloft by his charity and perhaps even humbled by his kindness. And yet, Ran was not a saint. Nor in him beat the heart of Old King Cole. Life could and did, at times, weigh heavy on him. Randy was one of those individuals that could bring you down just and easily as he could lift your spirits up. It was this dichotomy that became like a magnet drawing people to him hoping to share in his joy or alleviate some of his pain. It is in this sharing of the human condition that family and friends show affection … indeed how they show love. Randy was loved for so many more ways than I could ever type or even know.

So, again, what can I impart to you that you don’t already know? I think just this one small declaration, perhaps only meaningful to me, that I will use to end this post: I am one of you; I will miss Ran; I pray he has found peace and that each and every one of you will do the same when that time comes.
