Richard "Buck" Harris

Buck was born September 10, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio. He married Anna in 1967. They had two daughters, Donna and Sandi. In 1982 Buck was transfered from Ohio to beautiful Golden, Colorado, where he continued to raise his family. This is where he eventually retired as a telecommunications installer. Buck enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, socializing with his coffee group, having meals with his new friends at the Ridge, collecting rare finds and sports of course, you could count on him to have one of his favorite teams playing on the TV whether it was the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Denver Broncos or the Colorado Rockies, he always knew the score. Those that were lucky enough to have him in their lives got the chance to experience his kindness and geniune personality.

He is survived by his daughters Donna Brookhart (partner Bart Dorscheid), and Sandi Stocker (husband Curt Stocker). His pride and joy, the grandkids, Rebecca Brookhart, Phillip and Jace Stocker and his step-grandchildren Alexandra and Tyler Dorscheid. He is also survived by his siblings, Barbra Ackers (husband Bruce Ackers), Dan Harris (wife Sue Harris), Mary Jo Moser (husband Harry Moser), Susan Harris, Sister-in-Law Ann Harris (Tom Harris), Peggy Straight (husband Bob Straight), Bob Harris (wife Lora Harris) and John Harris (wife Sherry Harris), along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is proceded in death by his wife Anna Harris, parents Ellery and Mary Harris, brother Tom Harris and Son-in Law Bradley Brookhart.

Services will be held on Saturday June 1, 2024 at 10:00am in the serenity garden at Olinger Crown Hill, 7777 West 29th Avenue, Wheatridge, Colorado 80033.
