Richard R. Jennings, son of Robert and Viola Jennings, died on March 10th at his Residence Harmony Point Nursing Center in Lakewood, Colorado. Richard was born April 7th, 1931 in Denver, Colorado and lived his entire life in Denver. He had a 40 year career as a railroader with the Burlington Northern Railroad having served in various capacities as clerk, dock worker, and night yard superintendent.
He loved fishing and hunting in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains.
Richard was a Master Mason member of the Palestine Lodge.
He is survived by three children, Robert, Laura, and Thomas; four grandchildren, Dustin, Chad, Tyler and Kyle, and six great grandchildren, Chase, Phoenix, Justyn, Haizlee, Gene and Logan.
Services will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery and Mortuary, 7777 W. 29th Ave. Denver, CO 80215 on Wednesday, March 20th at 11AM in the Pavilion of Reflection.
Ashes will be scattered at Mount Lindo Cemetery, 5928 Turkey Rd., Morrison, CO 80465 on June 5th at 11AM.
