Passed away peacefully on January 2nd, at the age of 58 years old. Rick was born on April 20th, 1952, in Denver, Colorado. He grew up in Lakewood, attended Mullen High School. After spending most of his younger years landscaping for the family business he has been involved with the training, caring and racing his father’s homing pigeons. He is survived by his wife Jody, his son Jason and wife Heather; daughter Rachael; son Brandon and wife Stacey; and daughter Rachele. Father Wally, mother Shirley, brother Sam and wife Peggy; sister Connie and husband Rob; brother Nick and wife Cheri. Survived also by 5 grandchildren, Dustin, Xander, Gizelle, Brandon Jr., and Tryston. A memorial service will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery in the Pavilion on Saturday January 8th at 2:00pm. Reception to follow at the Elks Lodge 3850 Elk Dr, Westminster, 80030. Family prefers donations in lieu of flowers. Donations to be made to Citywide Banks in care of Jody SaBell. His compassionate and loving heart will be greatly missed.
