Robert Ray “Bob” Goetz, age 79, passed away September 23, 2014. He was born May 16, 1935 in Denver. Bob was a longtime Arvada resident; he taught at North High School and in the Administration Building for much of his career. Bob was a veteran of the US Air Force Reserves and he enjoyed the outdoors, furniture making and dogs. He was a member of Mensa and Intertel. Bob is survived by his wife Sandy; children Bonnie (Steven) and Rob, granddaughter Molly; sisters Judy (Cecil) Ard and Janice (Murlin) Vernon and sister-in-law Mary Goetz. He was preceded in death by his brother Dan Goetz. Memorial service will be Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Olinger Crown Hill Pavilion of Reflection. In lieu of flowers donations preferred to the Foothills Animal Shelter.
