Robert N. McClellan of Arvada, a retired public school teacher, died January 28, 2016. He was 80. He was born on November 2, 1935 in Pueblo, Colorado. On August 16, 1958 he married Mary E. Hamilton in Denver, Colorado.
He earned his AA degree at the University of Southern Colorado and his BA and MA in education at the University of Northern Colorado. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He then taught in Aurora and Westminster schools for thirty years. He retired in 1991.
He is survived by his loving family, wife Mary (Hamilton) McClellan, daughter Shereen McClellan North, granddaughter Rachel North, grandson Adam North II, and a son in law Adam North. He was preceded in death by his son Shawn, and his parents Neil and Dorothy McClellan.
