He was born in Iowa, graduated from high school in Colorado and pursued his career as a pipefitter. Along the way, the family moved to Montana where he became a cowboy and enjoyed riding his horses for many years. His hobbies included fishing, camping, traveling and enjoying his friends and family.
Bob is survived by his wife of almost 25 years, Sue, daughter Judy (Mike) and grandson Taner. He is also survived by his step-children, Jack, Leandra (Tom), Doug (Michele) and Chris (Miles). His step-grandchildren are Mindy (Bill), Ryan (Brie), Nicole (Eli), Leandra (Thomas), Kain, Robbie, Christie, Sara, and Derek. Also, seven step-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge CO on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. The procession will line up at Marker B, on the right side just after entering and past the first roundabout. Please plan to be there 10 minutes early for line up.
A reception will be held after the services at Sue’s home at 13340 Abilene St., Brighton, CO.
