Robert G. Van Male (97) of Littleton, Colorado, passed away January 26, 2022. He was born in Alameda, California. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois (Patton) Van Male (2012). Bob is survived by 3 Children, Tanya (Rick) Jones, Vicki (Patrick) Dougherty, and Christopher (Christina) Van Male; 8 Grandchildren; and 13 Great Grandchildren. During his World War II military career, Bob received the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. Bob was an industrial arts teacher for the Denver Public Schools at Grant Jr. High for many years. He was also a Past Potentate for El Jebel Shrine. There will be a Military Honors Ceremony at Fort Logan Cemetery, in Denver, at Noon on Tuesday, February 22nd. Following the Military Honors, a service will be held at 2:00 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary Chapel, 7777 West 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO, 80033. A reception will follow this service at 3:00 PM. All are invited to attend either or both services and the reception. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital: 2900 N.
