Our Savior Jesus Christ destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. Robin knew Jesus as her redeemer who took her sins to the cross, died for the forgiveness of those sins, and won eternal life for Robin through His resurrection.
Robin Jane (Hoffmann) Curtis was given life through her creator and was born on September 12, 1964, the child of Gary and Peggy Hoffmann. On November 8, 1964, Robin received the gift of Holy Baptism, at Faith Lutheran Church and became a child of God. On May 14, 1978, Robin publicly confessed her faith, was Confirmed, and received the precious gift of the Lord Jesus' life-giving body and blood in Holy Communion.
On July 29, 1999, Robin received the gift of a beloved companion in Timothy Curtis. God blessed Robin's life with many special people as she served God in her vocations at home, church, work, and in the community. Robin always found it easy to make friends and enjoyed talking with anyone she met through her vocations. Although Robin was not a fisher-woman, she loved to go camping and enjoyed eating the many fish Tim caught and deep-fat fried!
Finally, after numerous surgeries, the discovery of cancer, as well as much pain and suffering, on September 9, 2025, God blessed Robin with a holy death and took her Home to rest, pain free, in the arms of Jesus. Robin had told her dad that she wanted to celebrate her birthday in Heaven! Gary told his daughter she had fought the good fight and was about to win!
Robin Jane Curtis is survived by her parents; her husband, Tim; her brother, Rod (Betsy) Hoffmann; daughters, Barbara Jane and Grace Ann; granddaughter, Destiny Jane; and a host of friends and extended family.
