She was born in Denver, Colorado on January 18, 1949, to Robin and Lucille Martin.
Robin’s passions were her family, friends, dancing, and her beloved dog, Brandy, who brought her endless joy.
After her first stroke at the age of 43, she recovered and managed to start a new career as a home health aide which she loved very much. It was after her third stroke that she became disabled and was no longer able to work.
Throughout her life Robin was always cheerful, never complaining about the challenges she faced.
In August, 2021, she fell, was diagnosed with vascular dementia, became bedridden, and lived her remaining five years in a nursing home which she did with grace and acceptance.
