Rod always had a passion for auto racing and hot rods with his first record title occurring in 1968 as the NHRA drag racing points champion driving Big Iron, a 1960 Pontiac Catalina. His love of the racing industry allowed him to have many friends who considered Rod family.
His humor, frankness, knowledge and love for fun will be missed by many.
A Celebration of Life is being planned to be held in June to honor our loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
