I'm going to miss you Roger. Many of the people in my close circle of friends are in one way or another connected to you.  Your beautiful spirit lives on!

Where do I start? 
Roger, you have been such a close friend for so long; I am going to miss you every day for the rest of my life. You and I had a connection that was so unique and will never be equaled. We shared so many wonderful experiences and I have so many GREAT memories of them…it breaks my heart that I can no longer call you or see you to share and laugh about them. There are so many things that I see and do in everyday life that are somehow connected to you…I hear a song and think, ‘Roger turned me on to this' or I'm watching a movie and it comes to a scene that we used to laugh about; I'll be watching a documentary on WWII and think, ‘I need to ask Roger about that'… so, so many things. I will miss your quick wit, intelligence and great sense of humor. Your door was always open to me or anyone else, no matter how long it had been since you last saw them and you were always willing to give and do anything you could to help a friend out. I could go on and on about what an amazing person you were…
I feel an enormous void in my heart that I fear will never be filled because you were the only one who could fill it. I will always carry your memory there and will never forget you or the memories of all that we saw and did together. 
You will be greatly missed by many. 
I hope you are at peace my friend…

Roger, you were more that just my cousin.  You were my very best friend when we were growing up.  You never failed at making me and everybody else laugh.  All the memories will be cherished.

Words cannot begin to describe how dear of a friend Roger was and how much he will be missed.  Roger not only blessed, but enriched the life of myself and my family.  Roger was an incredible role model to my son, Ryan.  His gentle smile and gentle demeanor was one that I was pleased to have my son look up to.  His desire to share his love for both Halloween and the 4th of July were inspiring and uplifting.  There are very few people as giving of joy and humble of credit.
