Ron was born August 15, 1941 in Holdredge, Nebraska. He graduated from Platte Valley Academy, attended Union College and graduated from Dental School at the University of Nebraska. While attending the University of Nebraska Ron met Jeanie; the couple was married on August 7, 1966. Ron joined the United States Air Force after college and was stationed at Lowry Air Force Base for 2 years. The family settled in Applewood, CO and in 1968, following his honorable discharge from the Air Force, he opened his first Dental practice in Applewood. Several years later he moved his practice to the Denver West area, where he was still proudly practicing at the time of his passing. Dentistry was his passion in life where he continually sought to update his knowledge to the latest advances in dentistry, always remaining connected to his esteemed team members and patients. A humble, yet excellent professional, Ron was repeatedly voted “Top Dentist” in the 5280 publication, most recently in 2019. While practicing, Ron also remained quietly aware of suffering and need in our local community; he generously served those with little resources with the same level of compassion and excellence.
Ron was a committed and practicing Christian man of deep faith. He will be remembered as loving, faithful husband, involved father and grandfather who found great joy in spending time with his family. Favorite pastimes included watching and participating in his daughter’s passion of horse riding and showing, traveling, particularly to Santa Fe, golfing, skiing and being a loyal, longtime supporter of his home team, the Broncos.
Ron is survived by his wife Jeanie Morse; daughters Tiffany Morse and Ashley Morse; grandchildren Alex and Helena Bryk and his brother John Morse. He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Florence Morse.
