Dear Ann, Kim and Wayne, I am truly sorry for your loss.  I will always have very fond memories of Mr. Terrell.  He was a great inspiration to me as a teen and always had encouraging advise to give when I was a young ice skater.  I was so very happy we were able to reconnect last Christmas after so many years. Hi Ron, it's your mom and dad..(smile) we Love and miss you so much.. I Loved every minute of our times we have spent. You called me every day. My heart is heavy with the grief of losing you.. (gone too soon) My heart is full with sentiments, laughter, and Love. You will truly be missed. You will be thought about daily. One Last Cry! 

My AWESOME Uncle, I'm overwhelmed by such fond memories of you; from when I was a child. Your interaction with us as children was so amazingly fun! And as a child, I never wanted nor could I understand why our visits would have to end. Each and every time you, Kimmy, Katrina, Wayne and Anne left us or whenever we left you I cried. So now, as I submit these words, I cry this last time; with full understanding that when we see each again, our time together will never end...

As my father-in-law, Ronald was a very special person in my life.  Being an Engineer, I enjoyed talking with him about technical things.  Both Ronald and my brother are audiophiles, and I remember one Thanksgiving when Ronald and my bother sat for hour discussing various audio components.  Most of all, I remember Ronald for his kindness.  One time when Kim and Ann went to visit Ann’s brother, Ronald invited me over for barbecue and we enjoyed just chatting about various things.  While we will all miss him, I am glad that Ronald did no have to suffer too long with his illness.

When I was living in Westminster I had this great oppertunity to take tapdance classes at the City of Westminster Senior Center. I will never forget Ron our dear teacher and liked it when he made funn of my Dutch accent---it made me feel verry special.We were also verry thankfull to be invited to the 50th anniversary party and happy to perform with our tapdance class for your family. I feel so fortunate that I have known Ron and always will carrie him in my heart.

You know I remember Ron for his help, many, many times he would offer his help in my home and at the business property. What a wonderful man he was and what a legacy he left behind.  God bless you and comfort as you carry on without him.

I hear you're teaching angels how to dance, from the waltz to the west coast swing........The angels promised to repay you by teaching you how to sing........The angels got the toughest job, this they will know real soon.....This talented wonderful dancer cannot hold a tune........They tried everything frorm doe ray mi to fa so la ti doe .......Nothing seemed to work, how to sing he simply did not know............Finally settling for the rhythm in his legs and in his feet....The angels caught on fast and never missed a beat........The angels realized they could not teach him how to sing......Keeping a tune would never be a prominant thing.........To show their appreciation he was given a dancing school.....All that was required is that he follow the angel's rule......."Teach us all your steps, cha, cha, tango, quick step and the swing.........Promise us thru eternity you will never ever try to sing.......written expressly for Ron's memorial by his sister....Zee

In the fall of 1997, Ron Terrell began teaching Tap Dance Classes at the City of Westminster Senior Center. The talent, dedication and genuine enjoyment of teaching that Ron brought to this new class was incredible to watch. Ron tirelessly taught those who had two left feet and those who truly had dance skills. No matter what their tap dance level, Ron gave the same amount of praise and encouragement. Ron quickly became a well loved member of our Recreation Center Staff. He carried a bright smile on his face and was always willing to jump in and assist with Talent Shows and special dance events. For 13 years Ron was at the recreation center every Tuesday and Thursday and you could tell he loved what he did. I can assure you, this dedication was not because of the money he made teaching...it was because he was a genuinely giving person. During his teaching years at the Recreation Center, I was blessed not only to have had Ron as a dear friend...I also had the pleasure of meeting his family. The entire staff at the Westminster Senior Center is feeling a tremendous loss...but we are also feeling so fortunate to have had such a good person come into our lives and the lives of so many senior adults. I know he's dancing in Heaven.

Ron was a wonderful asset to the City of Westminster.  He shared his love of dance with a passion unmatched.  He will be missed by all that knew him and I feel blessed to have gotten to know him over the years. My thoughts are with his family.

Ron always had a smile for me and was a very gracious person to work with.  We will miss him as will the many people who took his dance classes with us.

Ron Terrell was a man who truly lit up a room right when he walked in with the most genuine smile imaginable.  If given only one word to describe him, it would be happy.  He embodied every meaning of the word.  To have a heartbeat was the only qualification necessary to be a friend of Ron's.

I only got to meet you once when I was little, like 8 years old.  I remember eating popcorn and sharing it with you.  I will miss you!

Ron was a dear friend and work colleague. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I have so many happy memories of visiting Uncle and Ann in Colorado, but one in particular has always stood out in my mind. When I was eight years old Uncle took me to Toys R Us and believe it or not this was my first trip to such a giant toy store. I was so excited and looked in the aisles for hours. In tow with me the entire time was Uncle...as patient as the sun is bright. I kept returning to the aisle which housed all of the Pound Puppies, and spent extra time petting the black and white spotted puppy. I was hoping someone would see how much I wanted this puppy, but instead was reminded by a couple of other adults (you shall remain nameless :) that it was too close to Christmas to be expecting to shop. What torture for an eight year old in her first trip to Toys R Us! I sadly left the store with what must have been a giant look of disappointment on my face. That night Uncle and I were sitting by the indoor spa and he said that if I could answer three questions correctly I wold have a surprise. I answered all of his questions and he said that such a smart girl deserved to have a spotted puppy, and out came my puppy from the store. I remember being so excited and until today Uncle and I have been the only ones that knew about his right-before-Christmas gift. I broke my promise in order to share what a thoughtful, caring, and kind person Uncle was. I kept the puppy untill I was 24 years old at which time I gave in to a young girl who lived in a shelter that I was working at. 
I will forever remember Uncle for his kind heart, infectious laugh, and passion to dance. The world will miss you, but there is no doubt in my mind that you are still dancing and smiling. Ann, Wayne, and Kim please accept my sincere condolences and thank you for always treating me like family.

Loving, caring, giving, sharing, cooking and dancing are only a few of your God given gifts. You will always be family to me and forever will I keep you in my heart. So dearly will you be missed.

During my childhood, my Uncle was like a Father to me. I have so.. many wonderful memories of him (treasures of the heart)growing up in Chicago. My heart has felt a void from the very day my beloved family moved to Colorado. There was no greater joy on earth than hearing Uncle's ring at our doorbell. The hours of family fun that followed are etched in my heart forever. How I've longed for one more night of pancakes, srambled eggs and bacon for dinner. Sitting at his dining room table, hearing him say "dig in!" Though miles seperated us physically, I am eternally grateful for the love we carry in our hearts in life and through death. Thank you for being my inspiration, even when you didn't realize you were. Your Niece.

I will never forget Mr. Terrell,Aka Ron, "My Guy". He was such a special friend, he tutored me in math, taught my husband and I to dance before we got married, He put on plays for all of the neighborhood kids, We would do them in his familyroom for our parents, he taught me how to ice skate, and when I was shooked at what I did when I was skating and all excited I would look over at him with this excited look and he would just stand there and give me a little laugh and say I knew you could do it. Come to think of it he would do that with math too. I would bring my boys to see Ron and Annie at Halloween to show them off when they were little. He was always proud of me and I could alway feel his love. I Loved "My Guy" and will miss him deeply. Thank you Mr. Terrell for being in my life. I Love You. DeDe Dozbaba

My brother, my hero, my friend....My brother, this is more than just  a stated fact. Ron was the best brother  the world could ever know. My hero, he could build  and repair  anything electrical.  As a child  I can remember one time that he pleaded with our greatgrandmother  to allow him to fix her sewing machne. Several mechanics had tried and failed. So she relented and said "Ok" "See what you can do " He immediatelly  took position near the motor and in about 15 minutes her sewing machine was fixed, he was about 10yrs old then. He was born an engineer and a genius. My friend, He taught me how to dance....however I never did get as good as he was. When I was about 8yrs old he built me a doll house made of wood with electric light bulbs in every room . He was 11yrs old. He never wanted conventional toys at Christmas, instead he wanted Chemistry sets and electric gadgets. We created imaginary siblings , his was named Meety and mine was named Deety. We took our imaginary siblings with us every where. Just a few weeks ago we reminisced about Meety and Deety our imaginary siblings ...He was very ill but found the strength to laugh as was always his delightful personality. There is not enough room to tell of all the wonderful deeds and accomplishment  of this outstanding human being.  He cared about all people and seemed his happiest when he was helping others. I will spend the rest of my life speaking of him and my undying love for him.  Your sister,  Zee

Unc you were the best! Now that you have gone on to be with our heavenly father those of us that are left behind are feeling a Great lost! I will never forget you..your laugh, your teasing me all through the years..your jokes, "You", so special. So wonderful, so full of life and Love... my family and your friends and everyone that had the pleasure of knowing you a lot or a little will feel the lost for years to come..The wonderful thing is that they (we) will always feel the Love as well. Uncle Ronald was a very special influence in my life.I found him to have such a gentle spirit and the type of personality that could draw you near and grab your attention. I want the family to know that I love you all even though I did not get to meet you personally, your dad and husband will be truly missed, I do recall a particular day that he was in Arizona, visiting John and Mae Mae, we were engaged in a conversation about our health issues and also he enjoyed talking about his children and his teaching dance classes and so on. Uncle became my hero and each time I spoke with Mae Mae I had to ask about his well being. I had the pleasure of speaking with Kim which I felt such a connection and I wanted her to know how special her dad was to me and I will continue to pray and and ask God to continue to strengthen you all through this time of grief. God Bless you always and keep his hedge of protection around you all. Love Always!

Mr. Terrell has a special place in my heart. He was always willing to spend time with the children in the neighborhood and that allowed us to feel loved. My fondest memories of him is taking me skating and jumping roping in the drive way. I am blessed to have known him. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. May God give you the strength to get through this difficult time.
