Ronald Clinton Webster, Sr. was born on August 28, 1927 in Dayton, Ohio and passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025 in Arvada, Colorado at the age of 97. His parents were Earl Clinton Webster and Rosina Webster (Hyre). He had 2 younger brothers, Neil Eugene Webster, who predeceased him, and Earl Lee Webster.
Ron attended the Cooperative Vocational High School in Dayton Ohio. After High school he joined the Navy and served as a Seaman First Class at the end of World War II. After returning from the war, Ron began working as a door to door salesman selling magazine subscriptions and later as a Fuller Brush salesman. Shortly thereafter, he met the love of his life, Eileen Hazelbaker, and they married on June 17, 1950. Both he and Eileen worked at Wright Patterson Field in Dayton. Shortly after they were married, they moved to Denver Colorado where they remained. Eileen sadly passed away on May 7, 1990.
During their marriage, Ron and Eileen had 3 children; Ronald Clinton Webster, Jr. (“Clint”), born April 2, 1951, Rhonda Elaine Webster, born June 8, 1953 and Renae Kathleen Webster (Bagwell), born December 29, 1955.
Over the years, Ron was a bank teller, a life insurance salesman with Prudential, a Reserve Police Officer with the Thornton Police Department where he saved the lives of numerous people and animals, a part-time milkman and school bus driver. He owned an Insurance agency and dabbled in real estate investing and at one time owned a medical building and numerous multi-family housing units. More recently, he built airplane hangars with his son Clint and ran a successful airplane hangar rental business. He just loved going out to the airport and taking care of his hangars and talking with his tenants and others at the airport.
In addition to being survived by his 3 children, he was survived by 3 Grandchildren; Ronald Clinton Webster, III (Christy), Jason Scott Bagwell (Theresa) and Tommy Michael Bagwell, along with his 5 Great Grandchildren; Ronald Clinton Webster IV (Abby), Alexander Harme Webster (Kaya), Rebecca Christina Webster, Brayden Austin Bagwell and Colton Thomas Bagwell. He also had his first Great-Great Grandchild on the way that he didn’t quite get to meet.
Ron loved life! He especially liked to travel and see the world. Over the years, he went on multiple cruises and would drive across the country in his little RV. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and going to all the “parties” his groups would have. He would go hiking and biking and he loved to dance. He was always the life of the party and would bring roses to all of the women at the Valentine’s party every year. He LOVED his Denver Broncos and had season tickets for many years. He would regularly have “Broncos” parties at his winter home in Scottsdale, Arizona for his friends.
Ron was very proud of his 3 children and all of their successes and accomplishments. He was also proud of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and how successful they all are. It made him very happy to see everyone doing so well in life.
Ron lived a very full, long life and enjoyed every minute to the fullest!
