Rosemarie is reunited with her husband Teodor of 62 years, and her daughter Christine, both of whom preceded her in death.
Rosemarie immigrated from Germany to the United States in 1956, not knowing how to speak English. She learned the language by watching movies and writing letters to her husband who was serving in the Military overseas.
She took special pride in her home and loved the fact she was able to live independently while still keeping active by swimming, running errands, cooking, and making applesauce from the yearly harvest of apples from her apple tree. In her spare time she liked to crochet and watch her favorite games shows, “The Price is Right” and “Let’s Make a Deal”.
She is survived by her only son Edward, her loving daughter Irene, and 5 grandchildren, Nicholas, Patrick, Danielle, Christopher, and Shannon. Rosemarie was also blessed with 6 great-grandchildren, Zoe, Leah, William, Mia, Zachary and Sophia.
A celebration of Rosemarie's life will be held on Friday, January 19 2024 at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, Pavilion of Reflection followed by a committal at Crown Hill Cemetery and a reception.
