Ruby was born to Elsie (Gotlin) and George Schuck on July 13, 1920 in Denver Colorado where she lived all her life. She attended grade school in Swansea, attended Cole-Manual high school where she was a 1938 graduate. She also attended Barnes Business School.
Ruby worked at Reed and Company Insurance for 44 years, she also worked for the State of Colorado Motor Vehicle Department from which she retired.
Ruby was married to Walter B. Olson on February 5, 1944, and had a beautiful life with him. They traveled to many places by auto, plane and ship. After Walt passed Ruby continued to travel with her friends Leona Ward and Ann Finley.
Ruby loved music, reading, and she was an avid sports fan. She loved her Nuggets, Broncos, and Rockies, and spent many years on the bowling lanes.
Ruby started attending Bethany Lutheran church in 1936 and became a member in 1939.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her Husband Walter, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ruby was loved and will be sorely missed by those who knew her.
