Rudolph Rudy David Kenneth Lopez

A memorial service for "Rude Dog" will be held Monday, January 4, 2021 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.

Rudy is survived by his wife of 49 years Phyllis Lopez, his 3 children Carla, Gina and Rudy Jr., 10 grandchildren Zena, Kerisha, Marc, Brendon, Sean, Darren, Regina, Elias, Audrina, Naomi, 18 great grandchildren Jana, Jordan, Josh, Jeremy, Justina, Justin, Jesse, JaRae, Marc Jr, Phillip, Lilian, Dillon, Ethan, Ayden, Elena, Bella, Luna, and Azaliana. His 12 brothers and sisters Mike, JJ, Frank, Tony, Dennis, Theodore, Dale, Max, Gloria, Veronica, Rita and Kathy.

When Rudy went to be with our Lord and Savior and he was greeted by his grandson Marc, his Mom Benita and his Dad Max, his cousin’s and friends that have gone before him. Rudy was loved by everyone who met him and feared by anyone that crossed him he wasn’t called mad dog for nothing. Rudy was always honest with you and you always knew where you stood with him. He didn’t tolerate any BS or disrespect. He loved his wife Phyllis and his family more than any of us will ever know. He wasn’t much of a hugger or one to tell you he loved you all the time but he showed it through his actions and his support. He loved to party and have fun with his family. He loved camping even though he was afraid of heights. He loved to dance with his unique dance moves that we all enjoyed watching him groove to his favorite songs. Playing his aggravation game that his sister Veronica made for him or playing pool at the bar. He always seemed most happy when his brothers and sisters and their kids would come over and spend time with us or we would all go camping together. There would be at least 5 families camping together every weekend. So many memories so many moments to cherish that we will all hold dear to our hearts. You will be greatly missed we love you. May you rest in Paradise Rudy.
