Sandra Sue Corriere

Sandra was a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend to many. She was raised in Phoenix, Arizona. In her younger years, she lived in Southern California before settling in Golden, Colorado,

where she raised horses and chickens, embracing the beauty of the Colorado landscape she loved so dearly.

A gifted soprano, Sandra devoted 15 years to Opera Colorado, sharing her passion for classical music through her remarkable voice. She was also an accomplished pianist and carried a lifelong appreciation for the arts. Sandra earned her degree in Psychology from Colorado Women’s College, reflecting her thoughtful and compassionate nature.

Her professional life included owning the Royalwood Flower Shop in Littleton, where she expressed her love of flowers—especially irises—and later serving over a decade with Denver Water. Sandra had an eye for beauty, whether in flowers, fashion, jewelry, or her signature fragrance, Estée Lauder White Linen.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—she was an avid reader, and also cherished her beloved cats Puffin and Simon, her fondness for frogs and elephants, cheering on the Dodgers and Rockies, and taking in breathtaking mountain and city views from her Cheesman Park condominium. She especially treasured the 4th of July fireworks and evenings spent with friends, occasionally enjoying a dry gin martini.

Sandra loved cooking and sharing treasured family recipes, with lamb being a favorite. Holidays, particularly Easter, were special times filled with family, tradition, and warmth.

She is survived by her devoted sons Brady and Jason Corriere, and her adopted son Todd Corriere; her daughters-in-law Margarita and Susan; her grandchildren Jack Corriere, Risa Corriere-Tapang and

her husband Patrick Tapang, Isabella Corriere, Jace Corriere, Stephanie Bova and her husband Anthony Bova, Britany Gomez, and Joshua “Louis” Gomez; and her great-grandchildren Meela

Neubauer, Nash Neubauer, Ariyah Bova, and Ava Bova.

Sandra’s legacy of love, music, beauty, and family will live on in all who knew her.
