Sandy Rarick

Sandy Rarick, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 surrounded by her family. Sandy was born February 12, 1943 in Limon, Colorado and grew up in Strasburg, Colorado. Sandy was married for 53 years to Bernie Rarick. They have two daughters, Denise Saba (husband Marc), Karen Rarick, and adored granddaughter, Lauren Paige Carter. Sandy is also survived by her brother, Lee Tangeman (wife Karen); the “Sewing Ladies” and best friends, Shirley Cervene, Joan Green and Nancy Brannan; her extended family, Sam and Joann Rarick, Laurel Tangeman, Jerrod Saba and Matt, Kim and Edie Saba. Sandy loved her many cousins, nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews across the country. Sandy was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Zelda Tangeman, brother Lynn Tangeman, and sister Sue Jones (husband John).

Sandy was passionate about her family, crocheting, knitting and crafting of almost any kind, shopping and her beloved Broncos, Rockies and Nuggets. She was incredibly strong and approached life in an always positive manner, and she will be immensely missed by those whose lives she touched.

The family requests that casual attire be worn to Sandy’s Celebration of Life, which will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday December 13, 2017 at Olinger Crown Hill, Pavilion of Reflection with viewing one hour prior. Entombment to follow at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery.
