Sarah F. Kindberg

Born 2/7/1927 to Charles and Edna Lloyd of Red Oak Iowa passed away 8/27/2013 in Westminster, Colorado. She was 86 years old. She is survived by her children Fritz C. Kindberg (Lisa) of Middleton, ID, Suzanne M. Landers (Bill) of Centennial, CO and Pamela L. McKnight (Marty) of Arvada, CO and grandchildren Benjamin Kindberg of ID, Janette Frazier (Shannon) of ID, Timothy Landers of CO, Matthew Landers of CO, Jessica McKnight of CO and Makenna McKnight of CO. She is also survived by great grandchildren Alyssa Landers of CO and James Landers of CO., sister, Anna Mae Almquist of Huntington Beach, CA, Brother in law, Donald Kindberg (Marie) and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was the youngest of five children and is preceded in death by her husband John Kenneth Kindberg, and siblings, Ruth Robinson, Charles Lloyd and Leland Lloyd and her parents. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who took joy and pride in her family. She loved cooking, baking, reading and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed keeping up with family through posts and photos on Facebook as family meant the world to her. As a beloved member of Advent Lutheran Church she enjoyed many senior activities after losing her husband with her friends in the “XYZ” group, who she now has been joyfully reunited with many of them.

Mom gave to various charities, including Boys Town, the American Heart Association, and other deserving organizations. She also enjoyed giving when she could to Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary, a family run organization which rehabilitates and gives permanent homes to captive-bred exotic animals.

She was loved by many and will be missed dearly, as she has taken up permanent residence in all our hearts!

Memorial service on Saturday, September 14th, 2013, 1:30 PM at Advent Lutheran Church, 7979 Meade Street, Westminster, Colorado 80030. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Advent Lutheran Church, The American Heart Association or Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary.
