Shannon Leigh Barker was born in Anaheim, CA on December 19, 1966 and passed away suddenly on September 4, 2016 at the age of 49 in Thornton, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her mother, Victoria Ann Barker.
She is survived by her husband Kevin Kiyoshi Nakamura, son Chase Lawrence Barker, step-daughters Erin Pounds (Nakamura) and Keli-Ann Nakamura.
Shannon was a loving daughter, mother and wife. She cared for her mother through an extended illness until she passed away on February 28, 2013.
Shannon was taken from this life and those who loved her far, far too soon. She will be greatly missed and remembered by all she touched in her life.
A private memorial will be held at the family’s home.
