Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Sharon Lorraine Hodge (Dilley) (Blanchette) passed on to her Heavenly Home on August 16, 2026, at the age of 84. Sharon was the beloved Daughter of Orvin and Laura Dilley (Haynes), born in Denver, Colorado on April 7, 1942.
Our beautiful Mom was always the heart of our home and family. She was an incredible mother of three daughters, Suzanne Steinhebel (Blanchette), Deborah Blanchette (Ellis), and Stacy Jackson (Blanchette), in a happy and loving home. She set a beautiful example for us…she was a strong Christian, courageous, independent, and thoughtful.
It was always so easy to smile around her. She was known for her contagious hearty laugh, her funny, beloved Grinch-y grin when she was feeling feisty, mischievous and ready for some fun; and her beautiful, loving, Christian, God-guided, kind soul. She was the strong, beautiful heart of our family; fierce in her love for all of us and incredibly patient and kind to everyone who had the blessing of knowing and loving her.
Sharon was married for 16 wonderful years to, Frederick Hodge, who preceded her in death.
While we all will miss her greatly and deeply (always), we joyfully know that she is home with our Heavenly Father and our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus; and we look forward to being reunited again in Heaven some day.
Services to honor our Mom will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church (2100 Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80214) at 11:00 am, with a reception at the church, followed by a short service at Crown Hill Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
