Stella also known as Janelle, was born on August 16th, 1963 in Pueblo, Colorado to Caesar and JoAnn Hernandez. She was three out of four children, Dennis Kinslow (Kathy) of California, Michael Moreno and Vince Hernandez. Janelle attended Lake Middle School and graduated from West High School in Denver, Colorado. Her only child, daughter Deja Lobato-Hernandez was born in 1982.
Janelle loved meeting with friends and family enjoying the day with laughs and dancing the night away listening to music. Her favorite place to travel was to Mexico, she loved the beach... "Vamos A La Playa" as she would say. Janelle was a proud Denver native who loved the Denver Broncos and would get dressed to the nines for the games. She was a beautiful woman, with a smile that would light up any room but most importantly she was beautiful on the inside with an amazing, loving and giving personality.
JoAnn Hernandez, Janelle's mother, loved and cared for her beloved "Janellie" till her last day. JoAnn and Janelle were two peas in a pod, she was and is JoAnn's pride and joy. From the moment she laid eyes on her precious angel on Earth. JoAnn's love for her daughter will carry on to the next life time.
Janelle was loved by her two brothers Michael and Vince, who also helped take care of her. The love she shared with her brothers is an endless bond that will never be broken.
Deja, Janelle's daughter has always been protective over her mother and her legacy. Janelle encouraged Deja to carry on with pride and strength, she continues to live through her daughter, grand-daughter's who were the apple of her eye.
Janelle was a fighter, she amazed her family, friends and caregivers with her progress, she showed how strong the human heart is to live and to see another day and show what miracles are made of. She fought till the very end and on Gods time he came to take her home to be at peace in her castle by the beach, where she can dance, visit with loved ones with the sun shining down on her beautiful face.
"May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face. And may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars."
