Steve Kelley 75, of Thornton, CO, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 29, 1950, in Denver, CO, he was preceded in death by his parents Stuart and Donna Kelley. He was the cherished husband of Laura for 21 beautiful years; 33 years together and the devoted father of Tammy Walsh (Phillip), Jefferey Kelley, stepfather of Anthony Goodman (Debbie) and Anna Mills (Trenton), sister Krista Kelley and an Uncle to Kelley and Tara.
Steve lived a life defined by kindness, integrity, and unwavering love for his family. He was a steady source of wisdom, a man who found joy in life’s simple moments—whether it was coaching his children and grandchildren's sports, cheering from the sidelines at his children’s/grandchildren's games, or sharing time friends and family.
Professionally, Steve dedicated 17 years to Public Service Company of Colorado and 20 years at Costco where he was respected for his hard work, integrity and generosity of spirit. Outside of work, he enjoyed cruises and traveling, creating wooden plaques, yardwork, completing house projects and putzing around.
He is survived by grandchildren, Jacquie, Ashlyn, Azelia, Waverly, Liam, Ensley, Harrison and Rylynn along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Steve’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 11am in Serenity Point at Crown Hill Cemetery with a reception to follow from 12pm-2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Elevation Hospice in his memory.
Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the years we shared with him and the love he gave so freely. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched.
