Steven Thomas Taylor passed away Thursday Oct 13, 2022 in Arvada, Colorado at the age of 53. Steve was a Colorado native who grew up in Lakewood attending Slater Elementary School, Lakewood Jr. High School and graduated from Jefferson High School. After High School Steve decided to serve his country and joined the U.S. Navy.
Steve loved the outdoors and all it had to offer. He was an avid cyclist and an innovative artist. If he wasn't at the skate park chances are he could be found at the river collecting stones, which he would later incorporate into his amazing artwork.
Another passion of Steve's was music. Always exploring new bands such as Silver Sun Pickup and Royal Blood but still listened to his favorites Metallica, Ozzy, Motley Crue and so many more.
Steve always had a love for animals and reptiles, yet nothing compared to the love he had for his 2 cats Marsha and Wee.
Steve is survived by his sisters Kathleen Taylor and Patricia McGuire (Mark).
Steve will be remembered as an innovative artist whose honesty and love for the simpler things in life made him the unique individual we all came to know and love. He will be greatly missed.
