Steven Gene Taylor

Steven Gene Taylor was born on July 30, 1952 in Denver, Colorado to parents Gene Taylor and Audrey (Gammon) (Taylor) Swazoe. He passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 73. He was a resident of Littleton, Colorado.

Steven is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carolyn; nieces, Rebecca (Joey), and Desi (Darin); nephew, Jimmy (Kory); as well as many other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, sister, brother, and nephew.

Steven worked at Crown Lanes Bowling Alley immediately after graduating high school, attending Brunswick Mechanic School in 1970. After two years in the Army, he began work as the head mechanic for Brunswick for 46 years, working in Colorado, Ohio, Montana and Hawaii.

He was a kind, stubborn, gentle soul. His hobbies including working with his tools and swimming. Although he did not travel much, he loved traveling. His last wish was to travel to Italy. He will be dearly missed and remembered lovingly.

A funeral service will be held on December 18, 2025 at 10:00am at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery, located at 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. A committal service will follow in the Garden Mausoleum. A reception will be held at 12:00pm.
