Three years have passed my friend and so many things have changed.  You are missed by so many and you have missed so much life going on around the families. I feel your presence though and sure you are seeing and feeling it all.  There are wonderful babies being born, children growing up so fast in front of our eyes. Hearing of Steve's passing has brought tears to my eyes and an ache to my heart.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Paula and the family.  Steve was a great person and always talked about his family and the love he had for the game of golf.  I'm sure he is probably golfing everyday!!!  
I have had the pleasure to know Steve for the past year and a half through Medical Imaging Services.  Steve is a once in a lifetime friend and a good handyman.  I am so greatful for the time I was able to know him.  He helped me understand the film, and processor world all over again. Steve is one of the BEST that could always fix the problem or answer the question.  If he didnt know the answer he would always find out and get back as soon as he could.  Steve would always find a way to fix it even though deep down we both wanted the processor to break.  One day Steve asked me "so do you know how to get rid of the processor for good?" I asked "How?"  Steve said, "when the lid is open accidently spill a Pepsi in and onto it directly."  So the joke was always were is that Pepsi Steve?

Steve the last note you left on a film after you finished your monthly maintance on the processor was...
"Merry Christmas!  See you next Year!
I have to say we never know when its our time and it may or may not be this year but I will see you again some day.  GOD BLESS YOU!!!

Paula, I'm shocked to hear this. Although I didn't know Steve well he always stopped by for a quick conversation. We often talked about our sport in common golf. I'm shocked and will miss him deeply. What a nice guy. Please don't hesitate to stop by if you need anything. Help with your holiday lights anything. I'd be happy to lend a hand.

Dear Paula and Family,

It is with great sadness I read of Steve's passing. We had so many wonderful, happy times at Amoco (and we made it through the tough ones together). Please feel God's arms wrapped around him and you. Knowing Steve, he's probably smiling down on all of us at this moment.

Paula: You have our deepesst sympathy. We only just heard of Steve's passing. We are so sorry for your loss. Steve was an amazing person, and I will remember him for many things, especially his sense of humor, laugh and love for life.

Yesterday was one of the saddest days in my life. I know Paula will find a way, someday, to go on but you were the love of her life and it is going to take a long time and lots of tears. I am going to miss our conversations. Even when I was down you always managed to make me laugh. I will never forget all the good times.  Thank you for loving my sister well!!

Today is a difficult day for my family as they say god-bye to Steve.  I only wih I could have been there for them and to personally say good-bye to him.  There are many wonderful memories of Steve beginning when he met my niece Paula and they fell in love then the move to Colorado, the marrige and then their life together. Always welcoming you with a smile and a joke and that wonderful laugh.  Good-bye Steve, rest in peace and may "The wind be always at your back."

Steve will be missed.  He was a great friend and coworker.  The time I worked with him at Safeway will never be forgotten.  His zest for life was contagious.  My deepest sympathies go out to his loving family.

It was a shock to hear of Steve's passing.  We only saw him maybe one a year , when his father -in-Law would visit.  I admired his abillity me make 
everyone feel so comfortable.  My condolences to Paula and and everyone associateed with the family.

I'll always remember Steve for his jokes and his smile.  Whether at work or on the golf course, he always saw the fun in life.  Here's to Golficus Maximus!

I did not see my cousin Steven much in my adult life, but when I did, he was just like the cousin I remembered as a child, warm, funny, happy, with a wonderful smile and a twinkle in his eyes. That is how I will remember my cousin Steven. My sincere sympathy to his family.

I recently saw my cousin Steven at Judy's 70th party, and then again at her passing.  Although we did not see each other alot, Steven was very dear to my heart and he will be missed very much.  My thoughts and prayers for Steven's family.

I am deeply saddened by Steve's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him for a short while with Medical Imaging Technologies and he always brought a smile to my face whether it was via a telephone conversation or the infrequent times we spoke face to face. There are just not sufficient words to convey how much I will miss Steve. I've worked closely with him for the past 4 years and he is, and always will be, one of my favorite people. Always had a smile, a clever punchline, and a generous ear to bend. His love and devotion to Paula and the type of person he was made him one in a million. I will miss him terribly, but I will hold him in my heart for the rest of my life. And try to remember what he often said "keep smiling; makes 'em wonder what you're up to."

It's never fair.

We always ask why or why now; as if having the answers could fix it and it would never happen again.

We lost an amazing person; heart of gold; good words and hugs for everyone he knew.

He was my friend and adopted brother and I know that from this point on I will never:

• Admire a great photograph without thinking of him
• Listen to a Beatles song without wondering if it is one of his favorites
• See the Three Stooges without hearing his laughter
• Play golf without thinking of him and how much he loved the game 
• See a rainbow without wondering if he is part of the color

My hope is that he runs into our loved ones who went before him and touches their heavenly lives as he did mine … and someday we all see him again …

Steve always made me smile! I don't believe I ever heard a cross word from him in all the years we worked together.

I'm  so sorry to hear of Steven's passing. We just saw him at his stepmother Judy's funreal. To say it's a shock is putting mildly.Our thoughts and prayers for Steven's family..

I have only known Steve for two years while working together at MIT. He, like myself, had a passion for golf. We laughed about our shortcomings and dreamed of having the perfect game.
