She raised her family in the Denver area and launched her own marketing business. Susan was a devoted Buddhist who loved her children and grandchildren tremendously. Her smile lit up a room, and her grandchildren were always showered with love, affection, fantastic food, and candy every time they would visit her.
The last 12 years of her life required an extraordinary fight for survival as she battled Lupus, Renal Failure, High Blood Pressure, an Aortic Dissection, Heart-Valve Replacement Surgery, and Regular Dialysis Treatments (among other things). Her grit and determination for survival, despite all these maladies, was extraordinary. And while these ailments defined the final years of her life, her positive attitude and love only grew as the ailments worsened.
She is survived by her second husband, Wu Chang Chen. She is also survived by her eldest daughter, Wendy Moyers, her two granddaughters, Ella (18) and Lillie (14), and her son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Julie Moyers, and their two children, Jack (10) and Josie (7).
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Olinger Crown Hill, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Attendance will be limited to 30 people.
