Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandma and Beloved Wife; Theresa Annabelle Duncan was born on June 17, 1954to the late Didio Pacheco and Rhoda Madrill. She was one of ten children and born in Colorado Springs, CO. Although loved by her father and mother, Theresa was raised by her Grandfather and Grandmother in Saguach, CO.
She had fond memories of her childhood and growing up with her Grandfather. Shortly after graduating high school she met her husband. After a short courtship, they married and raised four children, finally settling in Arvada, CO for over 30 years. Theresa was a proud Grandma to five grandsons and one granddaughter. She was very excited to meet her new baby grandson due in the winter of 2018. If there was one thing Theresa was dedicated to, it was her grandkids. She could tell you stories of them all for days, no matter how near or far they all lived from one another.
Theresa was a friend to many, she could make a friend wherever she went solely based on her warm and welcoming demeanor. She had a smile that would light up a room. In her most recent years, she spent a great deal of time traveling with her husband and her beloved Schnauzer, Sir Bentley. She was known for her desire to shop til she dropped and was always generous with her gift giving.
Theresa was a fighter and spent years battling many health ailments that she
always seemed to overcome, which is why it was such a tragedy that she passed away due to a heart attack on Friday July 27, 2018 after several weeks of being treated for kidney disease at University Hospital in Aurora, CO.
Theresa is survived by her husband of 45 years, James Duncan, her four children (Jennifer, Sean,
Desiree, and Brittany), her grandchildren (Gaige, Zane, Kira, Jayce, Kade, and Talan), her brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and her dog Bentley.
Her celebration of life will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetary, 7777 West 29th
Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 on Saturday August 11, 2018 at 10:00am. We invite you to join us to remember Theresa and pray that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father will embrace her and watch over all who miss and love her. Because love never dies, God's promise to us all is that we will be together again, and what a great comfort that is to know.
