Thomas A. Hoy, 96, of Denver, Colo., passed away July 19, 2024. Born Dec. 28, 1927 in Columbus, Ohio to Arthur & Alice Hoy, the eldest of four children, Tom began his life farming then served four years in the Air Force 1952-56, based at Lowry AFB, Denver. Tom met & married his wife Donna Hoffman and celebrated 70 years together. Tom worked for Mountain Bell in Denver as a Lineman and retired after 37 years. Tom & Donna were members of Fellowship Bible Church in Edgewater. Tom is survived by his wife, Donna, their four children: Tom (Stacey) Hoy, Colo., Charlene (Michael) Ostmeyer, Kansas, James (Janet) Hoy, and Sandra (David) Di Lorenzo, Colo., eight grandchildren, Ryan, Shawn & Diana, Eric & Sarah, Krista & Kelli, & Eyren, eleven great-grandchildren: Malin, Caleb & Christian, Kylie, Isabelle, Ellie & Maddison, Briana, Tanner, Preston & Riley, and one great-great-grandchild: Kaia. Tom was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.
