

Tom was born to Thomas and Aurelia (Rae) Vanderbur on September 26, 1941. He grew up in Denver, where he spent most of his life and built lasting connections with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Alexander Vanderbur; his mother, Aurelia Aurora Setaro; his sister, Julia Steffen; and his wife, Ellen Elizabeth Vanderbur.
Thomas is survived by his son, Eric Thomas Vanderbur; his daughter, Leanne Beth Vanderbur; his grandson, Jacob Reese Vanderbur, his sister Roxanne Sickler, and nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
Thomas enjoyed life’s quieter pleasures. He loved camping and when Eric was younger Tom was involved in boy scouts as well, he also liked cruises, and old cars, and appreciated time spent on the road or with family. He was a reserved man with a dry sense of humor that those closest to him knew well and cherished deeply.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, quiet strength, and the lasting impact he had on those who knew and loved him. Family and friends will carry his memory with them always.
His services will be held on Friday the 22nd of May in the pavilion at Crown Hill.
