Tina Marie Bergeron

Tina Marie Bergeron, age 54, of Thornton, Colorado died on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, CO from complications after suffering a brain aneurysm. Her family was by her side.

Tina was born in Denver, Colorado on November 28, 1969, the fifth child of Tavita and Ernest (Sonny) Martinez. She grew up in Denver and attended Abraham Lincoln High School. She moved to California with her family for a short time and graduated from high school there, but her heart always belonged to to Lincoln. After returning to Colorado she married Rob Garcia. From this union came two daughters Maegan and Lauren. While their marriage ended in divorce, their relationship remained friendly. Tina met Corey Bergeron on September 12, 2012 at a BBQ in Bear Creek Park. That encounter sparked an attraction that grew into love. The two were married on February 7, 2015. She worked as a highly skilled executive assistant for over 30 years, primarily in the health field.

Tina took great pride in her daughters achievements and loved them both deeply. She also loved her siblings and all animals, especially elephants and her cats and dog. She enjoyed watching crime shows, flowers, doing her nails, and sitting on the beach. Tina was passionate about the Denver Broncos. She was quite vocal when when cheering and celebrating a Bronco victory; and equally vocal when bitterly criticizing the team when they lost. She was an excellent cook and her desserts were legendary. She and Corey enjoyed Friday date nights, watching movies together, going on walks, and laughing together. Cooking was also a shared activity. Tina enjoyed the task and Corey enjoyed watching her. Tina Prided herself in treating everyone she met with respect and compassion.

Tina Marie Bergeron is survived by her husband, Corey Bergeron, daughters Maegan Garcia (Matt Osbourne) and Lauren Garcia (Ray Doyle), sisters Linda (Gary) Baca and Cindy (Adam) Carillo, brother James martinez and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Tavita and Ernest Martinez, brother Aaron Martinez, and nephew Noah Carrillo.
