Tyler Thomas Tapparo, 21, of Arvada, Colorado, passed away October 21st as a result of natural causes. Tyler was born March 29, 1996 in Denver; the son of Donald and Marlo Tapparo. He graduated from Arvada High School in 2014. Tyler devoted his life to helping others, was a member of the Order of the Arrow of the Boy Scouts of America and had been a member of Troop 583. He achieved his Eagle rank upon completion of a project that provided six historically built tables to Ft Lupton, part of the South Platte Valley Historical Society in 2014. Before Tyler graduated he formed a 501 (C) not for profit, Mile High Rescue Squad ( MHRS). MHRS is a volunteer emergency medical service and search and rescue squad serving the people of Colorado. MHRS is dedicated to protecting life and property through education and prompt emergency response. After high school Tyler became certified as an EMT and loved his position at Denver Health where he worked as a Lead Emergency Room Tech. Tyler’s love of the outdoors went hand in hand with his many adventures in the Colorado Mountains, where he worked and played tirelessly to fill every minute of his life with the joy and passion of off-roading. His passion for life, his electric personality and beautiful warm smile with a huge “bear hug” greeting will be sorely missed by all of the lives he touched.
Tyler is survived by his parents Don and Marlo of Arvada, his Sister Danielle Moak her husband, Alex Moak and a dearly loved Nephew Caius of Ft Morgan. He also leaves his paternal Grandparents Robert and Judy Tapparo of Arvada, and maternal Grandparents Kent and Laura Livingston of Littleton, Colorado. Uncles Terry and Robbie Tapparo, Aunt Kerri and Uncle Edward Ziegler and several cousins.

All donations will be transferred to the Boy Scouts of America, Denver Area Council and be used to help send scouts to Big Horn, a leadership retreat, a program that Tyler believed very strongly in.
