V. Jeanne Benton

V. Jeanne Benton 90, of Ft. Morgan, Colorado passed away gently on Sunday January 21st, 2018. Jeanne was born in Dow City, Iowa on April 21, 1927 to Paul and Dora May Price ( Pace). She married Melvin Earl Benton in 1988 and Jeanne had two children from a previous marriage David and Paul Weiss.

Jeanne worked as a clerk in retail and also as a CNA at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush, Colorado.

Jeanne is survived by her sons David (Marsha Richardson) of Ft. Morgan, Colorado , Paul (Marilyn Houseman) of Mesquite, Nevada, Belinda (Roy deceased) Van Aernam of Ida Grove, Iowa, Rhea (Tab) Gaines of Pleasenton, Texas, Lance (Connie) Benton of Boone, Iowa, Denise (Chris) Clausen of Norfolk, Nebraska, Jim Benton of Wiota, Iowa, Janine (Ted) Namanny of Atlantic, Iowa, Joni (Doug) Sudmann of Wiota, Iowa and her brothers Marvin Price of Denver, Colorado and Dennis Price of Sac City, Iowa, her sisters Anna Mae Samuelson of Omaha, Nebraska, and Juanita Bowman of Colorado, City Colorado, also by 20 grand children, many great grandchildren, and 1 great- great grandchild.

She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Dora Mae, her husband Melvin Earl Benton, her sister Dolores Andrews, and grandson Justin Benton.

Jeanne will be missed greatly by her entire family and many friends. She was an uplifting spirit to everyone she touched during her life.

The family invites all to attend the services listed below to help them celebrate Jeanne's wonderful life.

Jeanne's Visitation Service will be held at 1pm on Sunday January 28th, 2018 in the Chapel of Peace at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery.

Following the visitation a Funeral Service will be held at 2pm, also in the Chapel of Peace at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery and officiated by Rev. George Berlin.

A Committal Service will occur at 3 pm at graveside following the Funeral Service at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery. The same address applies to all three services : 7777 West 29th Ave Wheat Ridge Colorado 80033.
