Victoria was born on October 13, 1933, in Delagua, Colorado, to Jesus Gonzalez and Ophelia Garcia.
Victoria was a resilient yet gentle woman with a deep and unwavering faith in Christ. She was an exceptionally hard worker and a loyal daughter, sister, mother, cousin, and friend to all who knew her. She found great joy in nature and cherished the beauty of the world around her.
She graduated from Trinidad High School with the class of 1952. Following high school, she attended court reporting school from 1952 to 1954. In November 1953, she married Joe Duran, and together they welcomed three children, Michael (1954), Donald (1956), and Beverly (1961).
Victoria went on to build a dedicated career, spending 20 years with Sears Roebuck and Company in the Human Resources Department. After marrying Kenneth Wayne Davis in 1980, she worked alongside him at Allstate Insurance for 12 years.
She was an active member of The Gideons International Women’s Auxiliary, where she provided encouragement and supported the distribution of God’s Word around the world. Outside of her professional and faith-based work, Victoria was an avid painter and a passionate traveler. She especially loved spending winters in Arizona with her husband Ken in their cherished motorhome.
