Virginia Mae McFarland

Virginia (“Ginny”) Mae McFarland (née Mosgrove) passed away at her home on October 14, 2021 at 86 years old. She was born to Evalyn and Arthur Mosgrove on June 1, 1935 in Denver, Colorado. After graduating from North High School, she married Jerry McFarland on September 27, 1953. Together they had 4 children and lived a life full of love, travels, and entertaining family and friends. Ginny was the matriarch of her tight-knit family, who will continue to honor her legacy and live and love as only Ginny could. She will be greatly missed by so many.

She is survived by her children; Susan (Ben) Afram, Karen (Craig) Graham, Jerry (Suzanne) McFarland, Jr. and Amy (Robert) Golan; grandchildren Scott (Rachel) Graham, Nicole (Garin) Nolan, Lauren (Kallen) Wyman, and Allison (Scott) Giles; nine great grandchildren with another on the way; and brother Harry Mosgrove. She is preceded in death by her parents, Evalyn and Arthur Mosgrove; husband Jerry A. McFarland, Sr.; sister Alicia Lloyd; and grandson Jacob McFarland.

Virginia’s Celebration of Life will be held November 27, 2021 at 11:00am at the Lakewood Country Club; 6800 W. 10th Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80214.
