Virginia attended school in Telluride, CO. She married William David Weller in 1942. They lived in the communities of Montrose, Durango and Lakewood, CO. With her husband they attended the Christian church in the communities in which they lived.
She loved to drive the back-roads and jeep trails, the mountains, the streams, and camping. As an outdoor enthusiast being outdoors was stimulating and reviving for her. She loved to paint and was a member of the Durango Artists Association. She enjoyed many other creative hobbies.
She is survived by her husband and her children, Joan Turnell, Dave Weller, Jr., James Weller, and Ronald Weller, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Virginia was a wife who enjoyed her life, her family, and her friends wherever she lived. A refuge for her husband and children, and a partner in her husband’s activities. A blessing to us all.
