Vivian Marie Snell

She was born on June 11, 1927 in Lawrence, Kansas.

Vivian is preceded in death by her parents Ernest & Elodra (Dodge) Patterson, her loving husband Rex Snell; who she married on December 24, 1944, and eight siblings; Edna, Eddie, Eva, Art, Ethmer, Marion, Ernest and Gerry.

She is survived by two siblings; Pauline and Norma, her four children and their spouses; Sonny (Sandy) Snell, Cheryl (Gene) Ray, Tina (Jeff) Howitt and Patty (Deacan) Newberg. Vivian was the proud grandmother of eleven grandchildren; Rexene, Geri, Sandra, Jodi, Tammy, Gene Jr., Cherylea, Donny, Brian, Jeffrey and Trevor. Vivian was just as proud of her twenty-six great grandchildren and twenty-two great-great grandchildren.

Vivian had many friends that she loved dearly.

Mom, grandma, sister, friend you will be dearly missed and always loved.

There will be a viewing at the Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

The funeral service will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Pavilion of Reflection on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 10:00am to 11:00am.

After the funeral service the family would like to extend an invitation to come and celebrate the life of Vivian Snell. Information will be provided after the funeral service.
