Uncle Walter, I will miss your straight forwardness. I'll always remember how you said I look like "Dudy cowboy", and how whenever I would go to your house with my padres you would say, "Where's Vanja?"

I remember playing a trick on Uncle Walter when I was about 12 years old. We were in Denver visiting family, when cousin Lori asked my dad to cut her long pony tail of hair off. Lori and I blended the pony tail with my hair ....we knew Uncle Walter was on his way. When he arrived and I went to greet him and when I hugged him he saw the long hair coming out from under my hat and said " what's this" .Then he pulled it and it came loose. We all laughed and he said I better never have hair that long, and if I did he would cut it.

Today you are going to your final resting place.  I know you will be waiting for the rest of your Brothers and Sisters, Nieces, Nephews and your Family you have left behind.  As in life, I know you will be ready to help us when we arrive.  We are all going to miss you.  We have a story or two that you have left us.  May you finally rest in peace.  We Love You Dad. I recall one year when Walter joined us for Thanksgiving dinner. I was wearing a t-shirt from the casino Johnny -Z's. The back of the t-shirt had a picture of a bright organge comero. Walter fell in love with it! just so happen that i had another t-shirt so i gave it to him. His face lit up with the biggest smile you would of thought he was a kid in a candy store. We will miss you.May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

LaVarne and I were just talking about how sad it is about your Dad's passing. All of a sudden our memories turned into laughter. What we know is that we are so blessed to have had your Dad as an Uncle. Everybody needs an Uncle Walter.  I want you to know that when Lindsey was on life support, your father came and stayed with me every morning until she was transferred to Craig. I can never express what kind of comfort he was. I know he was there as my Uncle, but mostly because he was just that kind of "dude". May God provide the comfort you need during this emotional time. Love your cousin, Stephanie

Cousin Chris and Glen, I am so sorry for the passing of my Uncle Walter. I have such FOND and FUNNY memories of him when I was growing up. Man I thought he was a cool cat when I was little. :) My thought and prayers are with all of you! Love you Uncle!

Although I lived in Vegas most of my life I have a special place in my heart for my Uncle Walter . You gave me some wonderful memories Uncle. Tell Grandma Grandpa that I think of them often, they along with yours brothers and sister are waiting for you.

What can you say about a man who lived his life by "To thine own self be true"? Even when I was small he always meant what he said.  When he spoke you knew what was what. So many beautiful memories of your dad and so many funny things he would say, I am so lucky I got to call him Uncle. There are many things I will remember, like the rod iron plant holders you made me, helping us move Crystal into her dorm in college, by my side when Tony was sick, cutting my tree down without asking us (LOL) and especially the smile on your face when you met Karalina for the first time.
