W. David Beech was adopted by Charles and Florance Beech in Darby Township, Pennsylvania. David graduated from University of Pennsylvania and attended Penn State in Petroleum Geology. Taking first job in Salt Lake City. He met his future wife of 62 years Betty. Together they had two daughters, Cindy and Chris, who were raised in Denver, along with two grandchildren, Jack and Abby. Moving to Amarillo to continue his career, he continued to expand his love for native American Indian art and culture. The couple shared a love for travel. Their travels took them all over the world, resulting in a lifetime of adventurous experiences. “Once you have traveled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers.”-Pat Conroy.
