I met Bill when living life with Bart in Winter Park, Colorado. Bart and I met up with Bill and his brother skiing a few times at Winter Park. Bill could hold his own on the boards and Bart would keep up on his ‘86 Burton split tail. Barts brother was always looking for the big cliffs to ski off of which I guided him to. Bart and I also shared a great experience at the Grandy place snowmobiling. I miss all you Bolton’s!! Sorry for Dad’s loss… what a legacy!!!

I met Bill on Maui in 1989, where I learned to scuba dive.  He was on the boat for my first open water dive where we met, and he shared his enthusiasm for diving with me.  He was very kind, and we shared some dinners, always full of interesting conversation.  He talked about his family, business, and his lust for life was obvious. 
I’m sorry to hear of his passing.  

Bill loved to read. On the tables at his celebration of life, we shared many of his favorite books and we wanted to share a list of those titles here.

Bob and Roberta, although I never knew your dad, I know the two of you who are two of the most special people in the world, so I know that Bill was just as special. I'm so sorry for your loss of such a special person. God bless all of you.

I had forgotten that Dad loved Shakespeare. As I've been pouring through verses and sonnets this week, I came across this quote from Hamlet and it spoke to me. 

Thou know’st ’tis common.

All that lives must die,

Passing through nature to eternity.




I can remember since I was little having fun and making memories at Bill and Mary Jane's house. My cousins and I splashed in the pool while Bill grilled. Bill saw me grow up and supported me in my career goals. He was always a joy to be around and made an impression on those he met. Thank you for always supporting my family and I in all of our endeavors. You made a great impression on us and you will be truly missed!

Bill is someone I will never forget. He just wanted to help each of us to be all that we could be. He embraced us. He shared his energy for life with us.

We not only shared a business relationship, but you became our friends and family. Both of you were there to share in our family happiness and you were there to share in our family loss. 

Bill was such an amazing person that he will be stamped on our hearts forever. We hope you find comfort in knowing you are not alone in your sorrow and are cared for so much by many.

Ich durfte leider nur kurze Zeit mit dir verbringen. Du und Mary Jane ihr habt uns mit offenen Armen empfangen. Es waren wundervolle Tage mit euch beiden. Ich vergesse nie die Worte die Bill zum Abschied gesagt hat - ihr habt jetzt auch eine Familie in Denver-.

Many times  Mr. Bolton was always trying to teach me to be a better person. I first met him when I was in 3 rd grade when his family and my family moved to Greenwood Village at the same time. His family and my family became close, to where Bart is still my Best Friend. Mr. Bolton always tried to lead me and his sons in the right directions. I will miss skiing with you and your mentor ship. You were an amazing man to look up to.
