William "Bill" Collins, Jr. passed away peacefully on February 20, 2012. Bill requested to acknowledge his brother Russell Collins of Houston, Texas and his loving niece Leah Talhelm of Katy, Texas; adopted daughter Joyce Newberry of Littleton, CO; adopted grand-daughters: Shannon (Jim, Anna and Sam) Montalbano of Pueblo, CO and Shauna (Ryan and Harmony) Davis of Loveland, CO; adopted grand-son Josh (Noi and Jaixai) Reineke of Utica, MI. Bill was a proud member of the Irish Fellowship Club of Colorado. His family extends heart felt appreciation to the staffs of Libby Bortz Assisted Living and Lighthouse Assisted Living; neighbors of Columbine Lakes and numerous friends ~ it was you who made the final months of his life joyful. Additionally, the family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the Denver Hospice team of Deedee, Jennifer, Anita and Tina for their loving care of Bill and his adopted daughter.
